Evaluation of the DoD’s Actions Regarding the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena

Updated: May 9, 2021

The Pentagon's inspector general is looking into the actions the military has taken to address the spate of UFO sightings in recent years involving high performance aircraft that have violated military airspace. The probe comes as Congress awaits a public report, due in June 21, from a host of national security agencies.

What makes this current push for recognition and acceptance around the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) different from the previous attempts is that this time a significant amount of the push is largely happening from within the Government and DOD, both former and current employees and elected officials.

The Evaluation of the DoD’s Actions Regarding the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (Project No. D2021-DEV0SN-0116.000) is another clear example that this internal ground swell of support is happening and that officials are not longer afraid to take this topic seriously.

This doesn’t mean that we should feel free to accept every wild theory out there.

We need to support their efforts by applying scientific rigor to all the information and not jumping to conclusions or running ahead of the facts.
